When I moved to the Isle of Mull I found myself missing the connection I often had in conversations with some friends about faith and spiritual wonderings.
It was at that time I finally, I'd thought about it for a while, reached out to get myself a spiritual director. I met with them online and occasionally in person.
They asked me the questions that I needed to hear so as to attend to the deepening and the wellbeing of my soul. They helped me process and ponder and deepen my connection with the Divine.
It was such a formative and helpful experience that when I thought about accompanying folk on pilgrimage it made a lot of sense for me to get the skills and understanding of how best to hold space for folk going on an inner journey as well as an outer pilgrimage.
That has led to me training as a Spiritual Director with Sarum College. I now provide spiritual direction without the pilgrimage part. I meet with folks on Zoom as well as in person on the Isles of Mull and Iona.
And I'm thrilled to say that in 2026 I am introducing Spiritual Direction with Ponies.
