Sacred South Coast

We realise not everyone wants to undertake a multi-day journey across the south coast of Mull to have a meaningful pilgrimage experience.

Sacred South Coast is a day-long guided pilgrimage walk.

A circular route of around 6miles/10km.

We begin at the ruins of Kilvickeon Church and discover the Sheela Na Gig. From there we journey out onto the open moorland to visit Shiaba, a national monument and a place of poignant storytelling and spectacular views.

Our route onward takes us to some beautiful beaches and a hidden cave with ancient carvings, once the site of Christian worship in the time of Columba.

We will pause for reflection at each stage of the journey.

The terrain is rough under foot with some tracks to follow. A moderate degree of fitness is required.

Participants provide their own packed lunch and snacks.

Group bookings available all year round.

Individual bookings available on request.
